not too strange... but then again. One of my undergraduate degrees was anthropology. ;) The really weird ones are the square holes in the head.

i actually saw a documentary on those people. it was an ooold "indian" tribe in mexico like 10000 years ago. they were highly advanced in their building methods... perfect seams and exact angles, all that. the blocks they used were bigger than any they used in the pyramids and they were higher above sea level than any of the other wonders (the pyramids, the incans, myans, etc...). and contrary to what that article said, the documentary said that they did perform brain surgery. all of the holes were strategically placed over parts of the brain where we would perform modern-day surgery. unfortunately they've got no written language and i can't remember their name. i've got it written down somewhere. if you're interested i'll find it and let you know. :D

perhaps the strange thing is the movement which considers this the way to higher capacity for intellegence. i mean the meds for the pain alone must help some for assention to some higher plain right?
