so i went out to play disc golf with danny, patrick and lance this weekend and had a great time. i intend to make it a weekend thing, just walking around the park throwing synthetics at metal baskets. nice.

i also found out that they play kickball in the park near my house every sunday afternoon. next weekend i want to go and take some pictures.

melissa and i have been watching Countdown with Kieth Olbermann for many years now. over the last year or so he has really been talking out about the current administration in a critical and incredibly well spoken way.

i was sent this link to an article that outlines some of the very bright spots of the last year or so. if you are feeling like you are loosing your freedoms under the current administration, you are. if you feel like you have no voice to see change happen, you are wrong.

we got a little plug from the local weekly paper. always good to see some press about the place that i work and the industry in austin in general. i really hope that the next few years takes austin from a decent center for game development into the next hotbed for game development. from a financial standpoint it just makes a lot of sense to me.
