Rockstar Games has announced Table Tennis, an unexpectedly wholesome ping pong simulation developed exclusively for the Xbox 360. The game features realistic, detailed players and animation, with a focus on the real-world competitive sport of table tennis. Rockstar San Diego is handling development on the title, which is scheduled for release in May. According to Rockstar, Table Tennis will retail for $39.99, substantially below the current standard price of $60 for new Xbox 360 games. (from gamasutra)

we got a little plug from the local weekly paper. always good to see some press about the place that i work and the industry in austin in general. i really hope that the next few years takes austin from a decent center for game development into the next hotbed for game development. from a financial standpoint it just makes a lot of sense to me.
